Volumes Speak Louder Than Words: How Consistency and Numbers Build Unshakable PR

Dear You

Dear You,

Volumes.

PR is about perception.

Volumes can help your perception.

Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and some Afrobeats talents rely on volumes as well.

You can use volumes to boost your PR. You can do this in many ways.

For some people, it’s the volumes of creative, quality videos they push out about themselves.

For others, it could be as simple as posting quality write-ups consistently.

Numbers matter. That’s why people will brag about having X number of awards or even followers.

Messi currently holds the record for most Ballon d’Ors with eight (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, 2021, and 2023), while five-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo has the most nominations with 18.

Volumes.

Another branch of this form of PR is the Guinness World Records.

You can suddenly get into the circles you dream of because you are a record holder.

Spending X number of days or hours doing something gives us a certain perception of you. And that’s good PR.

Such doings ensured someone like Kaffy became a celebrity dancer. Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, known as Hilda Baci, became a celebrity as the Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon.

A young lady the other day took note of the number of books she read in a year. That feat gained her some space in the national dailies. She was invited to talk on TV stations.

The richest Black man in the world, Aliko Dangote, enjoys the PR of having such volumes of money.

Think volumes, communicate it to your audience. You get more trust and enjoy the PR therein if well communicated.
