From Toilet Encounter to Canadian Citizen: How a Lagos Street Hustler Became a Successful Businesswoman The Ediale Story That Keeps Giving

Dear You

Dear You.

A call woke me up this morning. I remembered the voice but didn’t have the number again. It’s the lady that we published her business in Newspapers and Blogs many years ago.

I believed I told the story before. The lady that dropped a note on my table. The note that read, “Please sir meet me at the male toilet. I will be waiting for you there”.

I remembered how intrigued I was.

My film director friend was also at that table. We went to eat at a popular eatery. Only to have seen this lady whose backside was “twice the size of our heads put together.”

I told you I went to the “male toilet” to meet her.

I told you she was there and didn’t waste time selling her goods and services to me.

In her words, “knack me for just N1k abeg”.

You remember?

In case you don’t this was the story:

“I refused her offer to knack. I gave her N500 to be her friend instead. Because she was too fine. Not because I pitied her. Or because I was concerned. I gave her the money so I can get her to be my friend. The N500 got me her WhatsApp number.

“I later discovered the story wasn’t one off. In Lagos, there are fine ladies who are now knacking men in gents of eateries for as low as N2000 or N1000.

“This babe whose ass is really big also had a little food business. Via WhatsApp conversation, she opened up to me. I told her I couldn’t help her with the money she needed to get a shop but I will try and see what I can do to assist her.

“She was on a mission to have sex with 150 men so she can get N150,0000 to get a shop for her food business. I interviewed her, via WhatsApp. And packaged the story in several Newspapers.

“I couldn’t give money. But that idea worked. In the business interview she said she required investments to grow her business. We made the story really attractive by narrating the truths about how she suffered to get started.

“People sent her money. They looked for her on Facebook and other social media pages. And she got over N600k. This was October 2018.

The big ass lady called me some time ago, about two years ago and we had the conversation.

“Hey Knacker, how you dey? Big woman. You remember me today.”

“My Oga. I can never forget you now…I am getting married this Saturday. I want you to help me publish in Newspapers. Like 5 newspapers. Please how much will it cost. I will pay.”

I told that story and explained how that seed I sowed in October 2018 was paying me that March of 2021. I gave her the bill of publishing in 5 Newspapers. She agreed to pay.

Well.

She called again this morning.

She is now in Canada. A citizen. A business owner. And she has asked for my account details.
