Dear You.

So the other day, weeks or months back, I noted a new streaming company as dead on arrival. Some people felt I was too harsh. Others believed the streaming platform should be giving a chance to try.

But I know these things.

I cover the industry.

I have interviewed enough numbers to be able to know these things.

You can’t wake up today and say you want to create Africa’s Facebook. Forget it.

You can’t wake up tomorrow and say you want to create Naija’s YouTube. Forget it.

It’s like saying we have found the new Messi.

We have had the Egyptian Messi, the Spanish Messi and more Messis that never Messied.

Anyways, at times failure opens other doors.
