Opinion is Gold: Embrace the Power of Your Voice

Dear Nigerians

Dear you ,

I said it yesterday: you should have an opinion.
“Talk, have an opinion.”
And then there are some people who will dare to say, “You must not have an opinion on every trending subject. It’s okay to let some trending gist pass.”
I may have also had such a mentality.
But think about it.
Why should the currency flow around you and you don’t have a say about it?
Are you on Pluto?
You are here.
You have a social media account here.
You are not charged extra for posts.
Posts are FREE.
So, why should you not have an OPINION?
OPINIONS in this era are gold.
They have always been gold.
Traffic goes to people with opinions.
I built my brand having opinions.
You know, when I was meeting with celebs as a reporter, getting Tuface’s and co.’s interviews, publishing in the newspaper, just reporting?
While I was doing all that hard work, I was not as influential or earning as much as I started earning when I started writing opinions.
Start with professional opinions.
Without doctrines, there is no religion.
Without religion, no followers.
To follow Christ, Jesus needed to leave doctrines for you.
Without Opinions, no doctrine.
Why should we follow you?
You are opinionless.
You are lost.
You are not with the times.
You don’t keep tabs.
As a fashion designer, why should I follow you?
You had nothing to say about AMVCA red carpet moments.
You are a publicist, you don’t know anything about top public figures.
You are selling bags and shoes.
You are selling food.
You are into real estate.
But…
You have no doctrines!!!
You are minding your business.
Forget that woke thing we say now and then: “Drink water and mind your business.”
Don’t mind your business.
Have an opinion.
As a matter of fact, minding other people’s business is a currency.
Spending it wisely is a technical way to improve your own business.

Your Opinion Spotter,
Ediale
