I always remember Bunmi Davies, producer of Stand Up Nigeria. Whenever I look at Andrea.

This is the small gist.

Long before I was a father I had interviewed the entertainment entrepreneur and it was that type of interview where you just roam about in a car chatting.

In that exotic red car of his, he said a line that got me reasoning deep. I may have heard that line before but somehow, that day it hit differently. I pondered on the line.

He said, “ha, yes I have a daughter. She is the reason I am doing all that I do”.

I was mute for some minutes.

How logical is that?

That all you do is for one offspring?

Well. After some deep thought. I moved on.

But this is the case for me nowadays.

How can one girl just come from nowhere and steal my heart away?

This same heart of mine?

Why am I so in love with this girl?

Why do I just want to buy her a private jet?

Why do I want Simi to be her second mom?

(Not Simi Gold. There are other Simi too. Take it easy. Let’s just say Simi Silver).

Andrea is drawing a lot these days.

I don’t want to share her drawings.

Not this time of NFTs.

Before someone will go and make millions selling my daughter’s art.

But yesterday Andrea drew a very pretty butterfly. She even coloured it.

It was fine.

I draw too.

Growing up. I kept drawing books.

Drew Voltron and those cartoon characters.

I drew Micheal Jackson and his dance postures.

I was good.

This NFT has got me thinking.

I see silly arts being sold for millions of US dollars.

And I am like “hold on, hold on, I dey draw o”.

Yesterday was Basket Mouth’s daughter’s birthday. Basket is busy threatening parents to keep their sons far.

I see why though. The kid is fine. Kids these days are fine. Just have money to take care of them.

I want to travel to Dubai with Andrea.

There’s a plan to give her that treat soon.

She’s been asking to visit a spa.

Whatever the fascination is about.

She will get all that.

She will be 9 in a bit.

At 10 I will tell her all the BOYS tricks.

I will have the conversation.

It won’t even be hard.
